How to use your bumboozled nappies ...

  1. Fold the insert in half (the stitched line across the middle will help the insert to fold naturally in the correct place). Place the insert in the pocket of the nappy, ‘folded’ end first.
How to Use - Step 1

  1. Push the insert right up to the end of the nappy, grab it from the outside with your other hand, and spread the insert out flat as you remove your hand from the pocket.
How to Use - Step 2

  1. Lay the nappy flat on your change table or mat. The end with the side tabs should be furthest away from you.
How to Use - Step 3

  1. Lay your baby onto the nappy, about half way up.
How to Use - Step 4

  1. Pull the front of the nappy up between the legs and over your baby’s tummy. Hold in place there.
How to Use - Step 5

  1. Pull the tabs around to the front, and attach to the touch tape.
How to Use - Step 6

  1. Make sure that you pull the tabs firmly to ensure the nappy is a close but comfortable fit, especially around the legs.
How to Use - Step 7

For newborns ...

  • Attach the internal touchtape strips to each other - this can be done from the outside or with your hand inside the pocket. From the outside, this is done simply by pushing the 'zigzags' and tummy tape together. Your nappy is now on the "newborn setting".
Newborn - Step 1

  • Place the newborn insert inside the pocket, ensuring that it lays nice and flat. The narrow end goes in first.
Newborn - Step 2

  • Put the nappy on your baby as described above. The only difference with the newborn setting is that you fasten the nappy using the newborn tab at the front. Make sure that the nappy fits nice and snugly around the legs in particular - this will minimise the chance of leakage and blowouts!
Newborn - Step 3

  • For in-between babies - the stage when they have grown out of the newborn setting but the regular fit is still too "gapey" around the legs - try adjusting where you place your tabs on the touchtape at the front. Positioning them halfway down the tummy tape will give you a firmer fit around the legs, but still provide the larger rise, and you can use a regular insert.

How to use your Out & About bag ...

  • Place the rolled nappy into your ‘Out & About’ bag.
Out and About Bag - Step 1

  • To close your ‘Out & About’ bag, roll the top down until the bag is the size you want...
Out and About Bag - Step 2

  • Then fasten the buckle closure. The ‘Out & About’ bag can be fastened to your stroller or nappy bag if desired.
